Burbank
The City
of Burbank is a great place to be, whether you’re shopping,
dining or just passing through. Despite its expansive region,
it is a community of close knit kind people with welcoming
hearts and just the right amount of hospitality to make you
feel right at home. Burbank was born May 1, 1887 by a Dr.Burbank
who was a dentist traveling to Northern California. He purchased
two land grants that were given by the Spanish and the city
grew from there. The City of Burbank was founded with the
virtues of People, Progress and Pride. The 3P’s don’t
mean much individually but together they form a strong vision
and that vision has help Burbank grow ever since.
Our community
has many determined individuals who work very hard to maintain
the wellness of the city; our Counsel members are so extraordinarily helpful
and kind, making sure not to overlook even the smallest comments from its residents.
It is a quite large city, but there’s something about Burbank that makes
it feel like a town where you feel like you know everybody and everybody seems
to know you. The City of Burbank is known for its cleanliness, its great recreational
facilities and its many fun activities that any individual from any age group,
gender and race can enjoy. Burbank has the nicest people you can ever hope to
live in a community with and we’re always ready to welcome you to our magnificent
City of Burbank!
